Honestly I feel skewed because this food hit differently and I was expecting to just get mediocre food. I usually dpnt even look at this place everytime we drive by especially because we are big albertacos fans. We ordered a Carne asada nachos, rolled tacos, bean and cheese, and horchata. First off the chips were huge especially for the price, and the box wasn't the shystie ones with the compartments in it so you get less, that's always annoyed me! Honestly the chips could feed 3 people easily. The Carne Asada itself was pretty standard, well seasoned, and were loaded with guac, crema, and cheese, we always add pico to ours. I was pleasantly surprised. The rolled tacos were standard San Diego, filled with beef and topped with guac and cheese not bad. I know it's just a bean and cheese but you can really get a good idea of a how a restaurant by this burrito. The beans were cooked thoroughly no hard bits and were flavored well, definitely not just that side dish that on their prep list that's a burden. Horchata was good as well I hate when it's just full of sugar. Salsa have a good kick I love the roast smokiness of their red salsa and the nice acidity in the green. Definitely will hit this place up again if we are in the area!

Man O Man!!! How I’ve missed this hot spot!!! From the breakfast Burrito to the Carne asada burrito!!! 10 years is too long! Glad they were able to do both.

The dude was super cool Monday night! The food was perfect!! 10.28.24: Had to comment again. Ive actually been 4 times since this 2nd review. The dude's are super cool. The food is actually perfect to me! This is the Carnitas Burrito, add cheese n beans. Grab some green sauce while you give him $16 for a burrito you will enjoy twice. Sucks that it is so close and so good: I gota blood and urine test comin' up....Halloween 2024: Carnitas Super Burrito! 7 outta 5! Red sauce! 6 outta 5!! 11.8.25-im back! Taquitos guac special y red sauce is top notch!!! Back for 2026! Still cool dudes. Still great food! Well, here we are on 2.9.26. Check it out. Again, the coolest Dude in the window and the greatest beef chimi’s ever!! Pricing, speed, service, quality are all over a 5! I'm bummed they are under a 4…Go check em out!! 2.21.26-Super Burrito( Guess what? It's a 5+ for under $16!).

Every time I come to these places I get a carne asada burrito and am never disappointed. The price may have gone up but it’s like eating an entire steak dinner. The burrito is always heavy and delicious
